The UNM Basic Needs Project is an interdisciplinary collaboration of UNM faculty, students, and staff. Our goals is to improve the basic needs (food and housing) security of college and university students in New Mexico through a combination of data collection, research, and the development of evidence-based solutions. We also aim to build partnerships throughout the state with other schools, government, and civil society because together we can end food insecurity in higher education.
